A message from the UMBC Police

Heavy Traffic

On Friday, August 16, UMBC traffic will be extremely heavy between the hours of 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. due to several on-campus events.

Please avoid traveling to and from campus during these hours and/or use alternative entrances and exits to campus (see below). Alternative work arrangements or schedules may be offered to employees at their supervisors’ discretion in order to avoid high traffic periods. All campus offices will remain open and services will continue to be offered.

 

FROM POINTS NORTH

Take 95 South to 695 West. Exit at MD-372 Wilkins Avenue (exit 12C-B).  Continue on Wilkins Avenue to a left on Walker Avenue then left on Hilltop Circle.

FROM POINTS SOUTH

Take 95 North to 195 West towards UMBC. If UMBC Boulevard is backed up stay to your left towards the park and ride and North Rolling Road. Make a right at North Rolling Road and then a right onto Wilkins Avenue. At roundabout make a right onto Hilltop Road and then left on Hilltop Circle.

FROM POINTS EAST & WEST

Exit 695 to MD-372 Wilkins Avenue (exit 12C-B). Continue on Wilkins Avenue to a left on Walker Avenue then left on Hilltop Circle.
